More news...

I just keep plugging away. I need to be more attentive here as well. So here's a recap of the most recent events.

1. Completed first round of edits for Gothic City Lights. We may need to push out the release date, but it's worth it. The book is tenfold better than when it was first accepted. Loose Id is pushing me, but gently. It's been a great learning experience. I can't wait for it to release, you're gonna love it!

2. Breathless Press has found an audio book partner, so they have picked up audio rights to my short story, The Grass is Always Greener. I hope they decide to produce it. That would be so cool.

3. My free story, That One Night in Vegas, has been selected by Lushstories.com to produce an audiobook in MP3 format, which will be available on their site at a later date. You can read the story here, at Lushstories.com or Literotica.com

4. And last, but not least, I am in contract negotiations for my short story Divalicious... details to be announced once the contracts have been signed. Stay tuned.

Cover Art

First, let me apologize for not posting lately. I'm been knee-deep in edits and working hard on new projects. But, I had to take a break to share this...

This is the cover for Gothic City Lights, as rendered by the amazing and mega-talented Christine Griffin. We're still trying to make things go for a June release, but we may push that out. But I couldn't wait for the greenlight to share this, but it finally came... I've been staring at it in awe since I got it... Isn't it beautiful??? I know I'm biased... but still... GORGEOUS!

Coming Soon..

It's probably premature to get all excited, but this is my first published piece. I noticed that my publisher put up a coming soon placeholder for Gothic City Lights. How cool is this???

A day of excitement

...followed by months of waiting. Hehehe. That's the rollercoaster ride of professional writing.

The Grass is Always Greener got the greenlight from my editor, after three rounds of edits. It's done!!! Now it goes for formatting, then a copy editor will review it. Now I wait to see the cover design and advanced reading copy before the release sometime in August! This is the first book I've finished editing and its a thrill to know it is completed. *does the happy dance*

So I can officially say... The Grass is Always Greener, coming soon from Breathless Press

Fingers Crossed

I sent my short story, Divalicious, back to the publisher for consideration. They rejected it last time, but asked me to revise and resubmit. After a major overhaul and thorough cleansing of the manuscript, its ten times better and now... on its way to the publisher. Here's hoping!
